I'm James Marijeanne - Character Animator, Londoner in Tokyo. Currently in production on a high-profile AAA game for Playstation 4 and PC.
Previously I worked at Konami on multi-player online game Metal Gear Survive, and the final chapter in the highly-revered saga, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Before that I played a major part in the re-imagining of Capcom's much loved stylish action series, DmC Devil May Cry for Ninja Theory Ltd., as well as worked on cult-classic Enslaved: Odyssey to the West.
In the past I've worked with companies such as The Creative Assembly/SEGA, Passion Pictures, Sony and Axis Animation; producing animation, character designs, storyboards and animatic work. I've had illustration work published in Anatomy for Fantasty Artists - a how-to-draw book aimed at fantasy art enthusiasts. I also teach animation for videogames through video tutorials and one-on-one mentoring.
